I found the shirt I was looking for in Barcelona today. And I'm ready to give everyone a great big hug when I get home.

Arc d' Triomf

... statue of liberty?... kind of?

Had I had a friend with me today, we probably would have gone in.

A weird plant. this reminds me of something someone would draw with colorful ball-point pens.

Catalan makes me laugh... or perhaps I'm just immature... but 'fart' here in Catalan actually means "fed up." So.. in a way, that makes it even funnier, because people get fed up when people fart... or something. But this sign says, "We are fed up with false promises of the market." -Born- is the name of the market.

The Picasso Museum.

I've noticed something about Picasso. He paints a lot of really ugly people. But besides that, what a wonderful artist. It amazed me... the famous painting Las Meninas by Velazquez in the Museo Del Prado (Madrid-- which I will be seeing in a few short days!!!!!!!!!!!!) -- Picasso took different parts of this painting, and created about 100 different paintings out of it, putting everything into his own style. It was cool. I stood infront of movie screen thing, and you could see two pictures at once one right on top of the other, it would zoom in in certain parts of the painting, and then it would show what Picasso did with this part of the painting in his own style. It was amazing. There were like 2 rooms just from different renditions. It was awesome.

Hahaha. So.. I came to Barcelona by myself today for two reasons. #1- I wanted to find the shirt that I found (pictured above, that is the Catalunya flag)-- and #2- go to the Picasso museum. Mission accomplished. that was a good way to end Barcelona, my last time being there for... who knows how long... maybe forever? Haha. I feel like I've seen enough of it.. But I love it, I do, I have just been there.. a lot. Maybe I'll be back when the Sagrada Familia is completed... but by that time, I'll be about 40 years old... weird.
