Ogden Temple.

I have made it a goal of mine to go to the temple more. One thing that Spain did to me was make me feel guilty for not visiting the temples we have here often. There is only 1 temple in all of Spain, and it was an 8 hour drive away. When in Spain I was fortunate enough to visit the Madrid temple twice. Twice in 2 months- was more than I've been to the temple in the past 2 years combind. Sad... To see the Madrid temple, click here and here

what are these flowers? does anyone know? I love them.

Something funny happened yesterday when inside... I was getting confirmations to do baptisms for the dead when all of this sudden- the power went out. It was pitch black for all of 5 minutes. and then the emergency lights came on. HAHA. That was an unforgettable memory.

College is hard.

and so are pilates. I love the weekends. I love school, but not all the stress that comes with it.

Welcome Home, Mason!

Mason just got home from England from his mission. Happy to have another friend back in K-town! My friend David, who lives in Spain, knows Mason. They served together in England.
This is David.

Rockband Beatles Party, Tapas, and late friend Birthday Celebration

Jordan and Jace- my friends- had never met each other before this night. And what did they do? They played amazing duets together that had us all in awe...

Other Games during Rockband THE BEALTES

I was glad Michael and Abbie stopped by
I had a lot of friends come over for the occasion.

I was/am really excited about this as you can see.

I also made my own version of tapas with the help of Brooke and Abbie.
I miss tapas... so I made some!
and here is just a sample of what we heard... it's not that great of a recording... but it's something.

I love waking up every morning to....

...This. when i was in Spain (a phrase that still comes out of my mouth probably every day)... I went to the Museo Del Prado in Madrid. And I saw this painting and fell in love with it. And I came home to tell my mother all about it. And she secretly ordered this poster for me. And I went and had it framed. and now it's hanging in my room. And I love it.

This was the day I visited it.

We went to Tempanyaki. The kids were so entertained by the ... "FIRE!!!" Not being a teen-ager anymore feels nice.

Pilates.

Yes. Abbie and I have started pilates. As in 3 times a week. As in for the next 3 months. I went yesterday for my 3rd time. But the first time in this 3 month long program. And I'm excited about it. My arms are limp.. they hurt to just be hanging at my sides... but secretly we all love the hurting-feel good pain. I'm scared what's yet to come... but excited.

Weber State! Weber State! Great Great Great!

Yeah. I started school if you were wondering. And it's great. I'm in all pre-requisits for the nursing program. The thing that I love about all my classes, they are all inter-related to eachother. I am taking

  • microbiology
  • chemistry
  • nutrition
  • psychology

Yeah. It's a lot of homework. But I get a lot done at school because I am not working much anymore. these 4 classes = 14 credit hours. In other words, they're a pretty big deal. But I'm excited about them.

Farewell, Liz!!

Sam and Andrew. Once upon a time, 5 years ago, we were all in the same psychology class with Davis High's famous Mrs. Coburn. These two are great... always making me laugh.
These are my best girl friends from high school. It's hard to believe one is married and two are engaged. Liz, the one in the blue in the middle, is the one leaving for Housen, Texas for her year and a half of service. I have missed these girls..

Marissa and I

Ernest and I

Davis High's famous Stephen Ma, who has been on the news- for getting a 36 on the ACT, twice. And Ernest. for always making everyone laugh. It was fun to see so many people from high school again.

Visiting Lexi

I finally found the chance to visit one of my best friends in SLC a few weeks ago. I finally gave her her birthday present.

Always fun to catch up.
