my picture quotient is up on my blog... so i'm in the process of making my blog into a book so I can start posting more pictures again. but i don't know when it'll all be happening. so sorry i'm not posting lately... nor will be for a while... until i get the book made.. School is keeping me quite busy.

-The Funeral - part 1

Loving Lisa

Lisa was one of my closest cousins. Lisa passed away on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 in Tempe, Arizona. These are some of my last favorite memories with her.

... We had a family party 2 months ago here. Lisa gave me this as her thank you for me sending her two pairs of shoes when in Spain. She took this picture of "la farmacia" in Madrid, Spain.

I will truly cherish my last moments with my dear cousin. After I heard this horrible news, I went and had this framed immediately. Last week has for sure been one of the saddest weeks of my life. I enjoy having so much family in town, but unfortunately for such an unfortunate event. The funeral was held on Saturday, October 24th, in Salt Lake. Such a sad day... The funeral service was beautiful.

Before the funeral, there were 2 viewings, one of which President and Prophet Monson and Dallin H. Oaks attended -- So wonderful to shake their hands. When I saw them, I was comforted in knowing that I will see my Lisa Jane again someday. I had tears streaming down my face- with a grin on my face- as president Monson said, "What a beautiful young lady." ... and all I could say was- .......... thank you.........

that was where my peace came from for the night. I then had a renewed love for the gospel and knowledge of an afterlife, and family members.

Lisa Jane, you are forever in our memories. I will always love you.

Warren Miller

Saturday night I went with my friend Paul to the 60th anniversary of Warren Miller, the skiing movie that I so look forward to every year. I loved it. My favorite part was when they had an aligator roped onto a sled, not any normal sled, but a sled with ski's on the bottom of it... and watched it ski down the bunny hill for a good 30 feet. Haha! I'm all excited for the ski season, since I only got to go skiing 3 times last season due to my study abroad in Spain that I had to leave at the end of January for. I have my pass at Snowbasin. Let me know if you get a pass there and we'll get in touch! This was my Christmas present. Early. In September. Awesome.

A you comin' fe tea?

This is Devin and I. He just got back from Canada, from the mission. Our friend Annalee had a tea party last night! It was so much fun to try and be English and old fashioned, even if some of us didn't do the best job with it.
