Hangin' In Heber

I just got back from Heber Valley with all the young single adults in my stake. Here's what we did...

top picture- this is Bishop Visser. One of the challenge courses was playing blind tag while listening to one other partner trying to guide and direct you were to go.

The lesson: We all group together to try and stay away from evil and it gets really confusing sometimes, but we learn by running into things and trying different ways.

My friends Shay and Tyler.

And then-- this. we had to tell these people- I will trust you with my life. and how we have to trust people sometimes. This was the scarriest challenge course for me...

After we rented out the whole bowling alley, we ate lunch outside.

My friend Lance and I -- we thought we got 2nd place. Well I got 2nd place for the girls with a score of 138. And Lance had 2nd place stripped from him within the last 5 minutes...
These 2 were the 1st place winners with scores of 161 (her), and 160 (him).

Ryan, in the yellow shirt, got 2nd place with a score of 158.

I almost won this pin...

We have a lot of young single adults in our stake...

We went on a hike to this place.

Ryan and Jake (the boys in the white shirts) and I all went on a running hike one morning. Because most of it was downhill. And the others caught up with us.

One morning I made pancakes for everone with some people. I made a select few mickey mouses, and worms. and baby ones.

There was a dance. HAHA.

And service projects. Coloring! - making games for little children.

the leaders participated in everything.

and sometimes we had free time to play Dead or Alive Catch.

and some people tied quilts.

Kristen. Me. Chelsea. I've known these girls since junior high. I played soccer with Kristen for 4 years, and we played the same position... FORWARD. haha. they were fun to hang out with.

I was laughing at my outfit... Pearls... chacos... HA.

We went boating at Jordanelle. And swimming. And it was fun.

the first night we were there we had a fireside where the whole stake presidency gave fantastic lessons.
